Graduates,
May is almost here and hopefully the pollen will go away! The Graduate Newcomer Board met this week and I want to share our plans for the rest of the year. Please plan to attend our exciting events and RSVP to the coordinator. They volunteer their time to provide a variety of events for your enjoyment.
The membership list is on the website (see link above) and password protected. Email for the password. Please keep us informed on any changes to your contact information.
After discussion, it was agreed that the membership yearly fee should be increased from $5 to $10 per person beginning with 2025 dues. Membership fees are for the calendar year, January through December. Membership renewal should be done in December.
Some events that are being considered: a boat scavenger hunt in July, Troubadour Project – A 70's Iconic Rock Revival Show at Walhalla Performing Arts Center in August, Shuffleboard at Keowee Key in October and maybe a Lunch and Learn event. More information will be available as details are confirmed.
The next International Dinner is
- Tuesday, May 7, 6:00 pm
- at Keowee Key Lakeside Conference Room.
- The theme is Mexican.

Annual Picnic
is scheduled for June 11, 11:30 am,
Chau Ram County Park,
rain or shine. We will welcome new members who are graduating from Newcomers. Chicken and sides will be provided. New members pay $5. This is free to current members, but please bring appetizers or dessert to share.

Annual Meeting
is scheduled for Wednesday, September 11, 2024, 10:00-11:00 am at the
World of Energy
Auditorium. Coffee/Social will be 9:30-10:00 am. Speaker and Lunch after the meeting are to be determined. Please plan to attend and invite your neighbors so we can fill up the Auditorium.
