Come Join Us: The Graduate Newcomer Club of the Foothills is a social organization open to all graduates of the Newcomer Club of the Foothills and other Oconee County residents having an interest in joining.

Dear Graduates,

Now that Jim is serving as President, I will be coordinating the Dinner for Six program. June is here, and it's time to send out a new schedule!

Before I do, I'd like to update our attendee list and, hopefully, welcome some new members. While the group is often made up of couples, single members are absolutely welcome and encouraged to participate.

Dinners are scheduled six times a year. The host reaches out to the attendees to schedule a date that works for all. Depending on your table, dinners have six or eight people.

The host provides the main course and beverages. If six people are attending, guests bring appetizers or dessert. If eight people are attending, guests bring appetizers, salad or dessert.

To make the dinners more interesting and provide opportunities to include more people, the schedule will list the host and one additional couple. Hosts are encouraged to invite one or two other couples or single guests of their choosing. These guests may be fellow Graduate members, neighbors, friends, or others they would enjoy including in the evening.

I hope you will join Dinner for Six/Eight! Please let me know if you are interested by sending an email to

Current members please confirm that you would like to remain on the list.

Please respond by June 26. Thanks. Feel free to contact me if you want to discuss further.

I look forward to some great dinners with amazing people!
