Graduates,

Derby Day at Two Horse Distillery was a great event, even if your horse did not win! As usual Lena did a great job! Congratulations to Sharon Hamilton for winning the best hat!

The weather coordinated and the food was great at our Annual Picnic. I counted 40 people. Thanks to Sharon for all her efforts and her delicious coleslaw! Thanks to Lena for handling membership, music and her delicious potato salad. Additional thanks to all that helped: PJ and Danny, Belinda, Joyce, Gary, Ed, Nancy and Bob. I hope I didn't forget anyone.

Ladies Lunch Bunch is taking a pause for the summer and will start again in September. Watch for an email from PJ. If you would like to join this group, please email

Jim is working on a schedule for Dinner for Six which will start in July. (Continue to follow Michelle's schedule through June.) The new schedule will be every other month, i.e. July/August, to help scheduling our busy calendars. Additionally, he encourages everyone to invite their neighbors, friends, and/or company to join the dinner, if you want to have more people at your dinner. Feedback has been that they would like to meet more people! It's simple. To have more people we need more people to sign up!! Sign up for Dinner for Six at .

Bocce tournament and potluck lunch has been changed to Friday June 27th, 11am-2pm. Same location, Chestnut Point, Keowee Key. Everyone should bring a dish to share and their own beverage. RSVP by June 20 to and let Lena know what you are bringing to share and if you can bring a bocce set.

Have a wonderful summer. Thanks everyone!

Pam Coldren, President
